Raveena is opening up about why she adopted two girls at a young age and the criticism she faced after that. Raveena opened her mind in an interview with Zoom. Raveena adopted the children in 1995. At the time, the star was mocked and abused by society for it. Some even said that Pooja and Chhaya are secret descendants of Raveena.
“No matter what we do, there will be trolls. Or you will see misogynistic comments. They will try to create controversy out of thin air. There were rumors that these are Raveena’s secret children, who gave birth out of wedlock. I am 21 years old and one of them she’s 11. So when did I give birth to them? Ten years old? Trolling exists today. Whatever you do, you’re going to troll. Raveena said they shouldn’t be considered at all.
Raveena says that when she adopted children, some people asked her about her marriage. “Some aunts asked ‘with good intentions’ who will marry you now. I replied: The one who loves me and my children. I will not come alone. My whole gang will see it. That’s what I told Anil,” says Raveena .
“Sometimes I feel like I was born to be a mother. When I went to orphanages with my mother, I wanted to bring a baby home. It was only later that I realized that my cousin’s children were not getting the life they deserved. Their parents were dead I help others But these are people born before me I brought them home Raveena also says that when I turned 21, I became a legal mother.
