Exoplanets News: Is There Life Outside Earth? Scientists have gone to space many times in search of answers to these questions. Besides, scientists are still looking for an answer to this question with their eyes on the coat of arms of the telescope. Finding life on any planet is a major discovery for scientists. He also discovered various planets. The same happened this time too. NASA’s TESS spacecraft has discovered two exoplanets. They say there is a chance to survive. People may live there in the future. Because these two planets are very close to the Sun. Both these planets are super-Earths. That is, both are larger in volume than Earth. The TESS spacecraft, or Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite, discovered two exoplanets 137 light-years away from the Solar System.
What are the names of the two planets?
The names of these two planets are TOI-2095b and TOI-2095c. Now scientists are doing more research about them. TOI-2095b is far away from the planet. Life can develop on this planet. This planet is 1.39 times wider than Earth. But its mass is 4.1 times that of Earth.
The second planet, TOI-2095c, is slightly further away from the Sun. One day is equal to 28.2 Earth days. That means 24 hours on this planet equals 28.2 days on Earth. It is 1.33 times larger than Earth. 7.5 times the weight. Both planets have surface temperatures between 24 and 74 degrees Celsius.
How did scientists discover these two planets?
NASA’s TESS spacecraft discovered these two planets by light. Every planet and star emits light. And based on that light, scientists looked for these two new planets. Planet TOI-2095 emits large amounts of UV and X-rays. According to scientists, radiation from TOI-2095 could destroy the atmosphere of any nearby planet.
