Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are the most celebrated star couple in Bollywood. Deepika-Ranveer got married after five years of love. In an interview, Ranveer was asked what she thought when she first saw Deepika.
Ranveer’s response was that he broke down the first time he saw Deepika. Ranveer met Deepika at the Sea Cine Awards in Macau in 2012. Ranveer recalled that Deepika was wearing a silver dress that day and openly said that he was flattered at first sight.
Ranveer fell in love with Deepika at first sight, but the two fell in love after Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ramleela. This movie will be released in 2013. With this, the Deepika-Ranveer couple entered the gossip columns.
Fans confirmed that they both have a crush on Bajrao Mastani, who appeared after this. The love scenes in this movie were also highly celebrated.
The two got married in 2018 on Lake Como in Italy. Only close friends and relatives attended the wedding. Wedding ceremonies were performed according to Kongini and Punjabi rituals. Bollywood actor Gulshan Devaiah’s words to Bollywood Hungama about the love between the two stars are going viral on social media as their married life has reached its fifth year.
Gulshan Devaiah is an actor who played a major role in Ramleela alongside Deepika and Ranveer. Gulshan Devaiah says that during the first schedule of shooting the film, the two were just colleagues and by the time the second schedule started, Deepika and Ranveer’s relationship had progressed very quickly.
Gulshan also talked about seeing Deepika sitting on Ranveer’s lap. “Nothing was noticed in the first schedule. Deepika was seen sitting on Ranveer’s lap one day during the second show in Udaipur. She was asking me when this happened. Deepika used to come very quietly and finish her work. One and Two Songs were filmed during this time.
‘They never seemed close at the time. I felt that Ranveer was interested in Deepika from the very beginning. Gulshan Devaiah explained that sometimes Ranveer could have followed Deepika so much.
When both acted together, everything that was born was a success. Both have acted together in Ramleela, Bajrao Mastani and Padmaavat. Not only the movie but also the songs were huge hits. The two last acted together in ’83, a film based on India’s 1983 World Cup victory.
Ranveer played the role of Kapil Dev in the film. Deepika played the role of Kapil’s wife. Deepika once revealed that Ranveer was by her side when she suffered from depression.
Deepika had also said that the decision to marry Ranveer was the best decision she had ever made in her life. Deepika’s latest film to hit theaters is Pathan, starring Shah Rukh Khan.
