One Two Three Four is a song that South Indian star Priyamani has done in Bollywood. This Chennai Express song was a huge hit at the time. Even today, it is customary to step with one two three four in universities and so on. Shah Rukh Khan and Priyamani rocked the song. Now Priyamani is telling the story of being a part of that song.
Priyamani describes the shooting of One Two Three Four as the five most beautiful days of her life. Priyamani opened up in an interview to a YouTube channel. Priyamani says that when he received the call from Rohit Shetty’s office, he did not believe it at first.
“I was at home in Bangalore this time. In 2013. I got a call from Rohit Shetty’s office. I thought it was fake. Because why am I getting a call from a big director like Rohit Shetty’s office? I thought it was a joke. Jokes are very popular then. They asked if the meeting would be possible,” says Priyamani.
“I called my manager. Someone called and said this is the number to check if it’s genuine or fake. A day later my manager called and said it was actually from Rohit Shetty’s office. I hung up the phone in shock Is this true, do you want to see me?’ priyamani says.
He said that it was a song and that it was Shahrukh. I’m dead! The dream of my life is about to happen. My dream is to be able to breathe the same air as that man. He said that he would come to Mumbai. I went to Rohit Shetty’s office in Mumbai.
He had seen the Chennai Express sign two days before he received the call. Rohit Shetty called me for the song. When asked how do you know me, you said that you have seen your song in Kannada. It was with Puneeth Rajkumar. He said you dance well. He said that you and Shahrukh are in the song. My mind went blank. Priyamani also says that he recounted the situation of the song.
I said ok, but I have a question. I said he wasn’t a background dancer. Because it’s a movie with two great people like Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. I didn’t know then that Deepika wasn’t in the song. She said that the song only has you and Shahrukh, not Shahrukh. I asked where to sign. So I said yes. The actor also remembers that I got to the sets in a week.
Now Priyamani returns to Bollywood with Shahrukh Khan through Jaawan. Nayanthara is the heroine of the movie directed by Atlee. Then there are movies like Maidan and Priyamani in the lineup.
