Actress Kajol is a strong female presence in Bollywood. Kajol’s latest film is Lust Story 2, an anthology film brought to you by Netflix. Kajol has played a very different role in Lust Stories. There are bold scenes in the film. Actor Kumud Mishra is Kajol’s co-star in the film.
Now Kumud Mishra has shared his experience of acting in the film with Kajol. She also talks about acting in daring scenes. The actor was speaking in an interview given to Aaj Tak. Kumud Mishra revealed that he was hesitant and nervous about doing daring scenes.
21 is not the current age, so there were a lot of questions on my mind about how to do those scenes. By doing scenes we completely become an actor. The normal scenes sometimes feel just as reticent as the bold scenes. Even when two actors are acting opposite each other in normal scenes, a wall is likely to form between them. Breaking it down is important.
I am the one who is trapped here. Kajol was the co-star. There is a lot of experience. She knows how to act with ease. Actors take years to reach that level. After working for so many years, Kajol knew very well how to handle her co-stars and how to treat them. Kajol was the biggest plus point. Ser Kajol made things easier. Ours was a give and take, says Kumud Mishra.
He said that the scenes were filmed in the presence of the privacy coordinator and her role in the film was huge. Whether male or female, the presence of an intimacy coordinator can be very helpful to actors. He also suggested that the intimacy coordinator should be introduced in every movie.
Kumud Mishra said that his family has not seen the film yet and is waiting for his response. She was responding to the question of whether she saw his son. The son is only fourteen years old. She made it clear that he didn’t want her to see the movie. His wife is also an actress. He sometimes watching the movie and commenting on it, sometimes remaining silent. Kumud Mishra said that if you remain silent, you will have to talk about it after reading it with your eyes.
On the last day Lust Stories began airing. The film is having a good response. Amit Sharma, Konkana Sen Sharma, R. Lust Stories 2 is directed by Balki and Sujoy Ghosh. Apart from Kajol and Kumud Mishra, the anthology film also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Vijay Verma, Amrita Subhash, Ankad Bedi, Mrinal Thakur, Neena Gupta and Thilothama Shomey in lead roles.
