Shahid Kapoor is the shining star of Bollywood. Shahid comes from a stellar family. Father Pankaj Kapoor and mother Neelima Aseem are phenomenal actors who have earned their place from him. When Shahid was only three years old, his father and his mother decided to separate. Pankaj and Neelima divorced in 1984 after nine years of marriage.
But when Shahid came to the cinema, he did not tell anyone about his father and mother. Shahid started his film career as a background dancer. Later, he became a shining star in Bollywood. Shahid is now opening up about his childhood.
Pankaj Kapoor is an actor who has won a lot of accolades for his talents in Bollywood. But Shahid did not tell anyone that he was Pankaj’s son. The reason was his loyalty to Mother Neelimo. Shahid did not want to build his own career as a star son. Although he had a good relationship with his father, Shahid was not ready to use her.
“I was proud to make a name for myself without using the fact that I was the son of a famous son. Because if you mention your father’s name, you’ll have access to a lot of places. I wasn’t having any of that. I lived with my mother. I was close to my mother. My father and I were very close. But I told my mother to do it by herself. So she didn’t tell anyone. “That’s how teenagers are,” says Shahid.
Shahid also says that he did not have much contact with his father until he was ten years old. “Father was not in Delhi. Athinal only saw him once in Kollam until he was ten years old. Later he moved to Bombay. Due to distance, there was little contact. I had time when I moved to Mumbai. Shahid says it was formed a rhythm between us
Shahid also remembers how his father once took him out for breakfast. Shahid says that the fans surrounded his father and they had to flee. At that time, Shahid Kapoor created a lot of fans with the Karamchand show, known as the Indian Sherlock Holmes.
“Dad is a very calm person. Very serious about acting. Even if it’s a funny scene, it’s serious. When he saw the people, he asked if I wouldn’t even agree to sit with my son and eat pizza. We had to run away from “My father took me by the hand and said, ‘Run, man,'” recalls Shahid.
In the interview, Shahid also talks about the criticism his film Kabir Singh is facing. “As a child I have seen physical abuse. I understand what you are saying.
