Priyamani is an actress who has earned a special place in the minds of Malayalis. The actor who has equally shined in all South Indian languages has also made his presence felt in Bollywood. Priyamani’s Malayalam films such as Screenplay, Pranchiyetan and Grant Master are still remembered by the public. The actor has been active in movies for the past two decades. Meanwhile, Priyamani has won many achievements including national awards.
Priyamani made her debut in Telugu films and later moved into Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. The actor made his Bollywood debut through the film Raavan. But he got more attention after appearing as a dancer in the hit song Chennai Express. Subsequently, he became an audience favorite through web series like Family Man.
The song scene in Chennai Express was a big turning point in Priyamani’s career. Priyamani now remembers the opportunity to break into the singing scene. Priya shared the memory of her in a recent interview.
While in Bangalore, Rohit Shetty receives a phone call from his office. At first I thought it was a prank call, but with the help of the manager it was confirmed that the call was not fake. Priya says that she was doubly happy when she found out that she approached him for a song with Shah Rukh Khan.
So he immediately went to Mumbai to fulfill his wish to meet Shah Rukh in person. Rohit Shetty received a warm welcome in his office. The actor also remembers that the director explained the song scene very clearly. Priya performed on the song ‘One Two Three Four’ with Shahrukh.
Shah Rukh Khan is a very humble man. He is probably the sweetest person in the world. Some of the scenes in the song had steps that needed to be cleaned. He would tell me to relax while he practiced it. So I told him that I love to dance, so I can do it as many times as I want, no problem. It was five days that I will never forget in my life,” Priyamani said.
Priya also talked about the funny moments during the shoot. “So she didn’t sit around talking for a long time, but in between she played Kon Banega Crorepati on her iPad. She gave me 200 rupees. They gave me 200 rupees as a gift because my answers were correct’,
Priyamani also said that Shah Rukh Khan is very sincere with his work. If we finish work at two or six in the morning, we all go to sleep. But Priyamani said that he is a person who goes to the room and practices even after packing up. Meanwhile, Priyamani is starring in Shah Rukh’s new film Jawaan. Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi play the other lead roles in the Atlee-directed film.
