There was a scene in the film where Shah Rukh Khan was being beaten. Suchitra says that it was not easy for her to do that. Suchitra recalls that she completed the scene after several takes and a lot of crying. Suchitra said this in an interview to Bollywood Hungama.

Suchitra’s character was Anna in the film. Shahrukh played the role of Sunil. Suchitra says the team went through a lot of takes for Shahrukh’s punch sequence and it was difficult for her to complete it.

‘I started crying because I had to hit Shah Rukh and that too one after another. In the end, I burst into tears because I couldn’t do it again. ‘How can I hit someone?’ Kundan had said that it should be the original hit, but there was no point in him pretending to hit it. Shahrukh was a gentleman, so he didn’t say anything, but I could see his heart.”

‘I burst into tears and said: I can’t take it anymore! By then, Kundan fired, but it was a very painful incident. Shahrukh is good at acting, but I broke down because he couldn’t do it,” Suchitra Krishnamurthy recalled.

Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa is one of Shahrukh’s early films. Shahrukh’s performance in the film is still considered one of the best of his career. Shahrukh has also said before that this is his favorite movie. Meanwhile, Suchitra later shone in films like My Wife’s Murder, Raan and Romeo Akbar Walter starring Anil Kapoor. Suchitra was last seen in the web series Guilty Minds, which began streaming on Amazon Prime Video recently.
