“At first it’s all war. I don’t come from a movie family. I remember going to auditions for commercials and being told many times that you’re not white. There are things like this at the ad level. Look me in the face and tell me you’re not beautiful But that didn’t stop me,” says Sobhita.

“I thought about how I could be creative. How to be a part of this industry. Because I really want to. And willing to work for it every day. That’s how you start to think differently. And not wait for a big commercial film director to find us All I have control over is going to the audition and giving my 100 percent,” says Shobhita.

Shobhita was very happy when she got a chance with Raman Raghav. The Anurag Kashyap film was an exciting experience. Shobhita says that the film was a school for her. Shobhita says that her wish is to become an actress and not to become a star.

“If you love acting, nothing else will affect you. Meanwhile, if your ambition is to become a star, all this will fade into the background. If you want to be a star, you have to be like that.
