Dimple said that he had no plans to fully venture into acting. But the sons Twinkle Khanna and Rinke Khanna insisted. ‘I told Twinkle once that I don’t want to work anymore. The workload is heavy and my health is deteriorating. There is tension. Why should I see that me on the screen? I asked if he should do this again’,
‘Then Twinkle looked at me and asked, ‘Do you want money?’ “I said, ‘Yeah,’ and she said, ‘Then leave your lap at home and go to work,’ and her words were very sharp,” Dimple said.
Meanwhile, in an earlier interview with Kareena Kapoor, Twinkle said she didn’t want to be an actress and went into movies to help her mother. The movies were a way to make quick money. Ella twinkle said that she became an actress to help and support her single mother.
