Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are the iconic Bollywood star couple. After the success of the movie Dil Wale Dulhania Le Jayege, they became irreplaceable heroes and heroines. Yesterday, when the trailer for Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani was released, Shahrukh and Kajol became the talk of the town. Shahrukh and Kajol were once a successful couple in Karan Johar’s movies. Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh are the main stars of the new film.
It has been criticized that Alia and Ranveer lack the fascinating chemistry of Shahrukh and Kajol. Neither of Bollywood’s new generation star pairs have been able to replicate Shahrukh-Kajol’s on-screen magic. Shah Rukh is a good friend of Kajol outside of the film. Both have talked about this in interviews.
Meanwhile, Shahrukh and Kajol’s husband Ajay Devgn are not friends. This has been discussed on many occasions. There was a report in the B-town media that Ajay banned Kajol from performing with Shahrukh at one point.
It was during his romance with Kajol that Ajay Devgn was upset that the Shahrukh-Kajol couple was being celebrated. Aja felt that people are paying more attention to Kajol and Shah Rukh’s friendship than the romance between her and Kajol. According to her reports, she has asked Kajol not to perform with Shah Rukh.
Shahrukh Khan has reacted to this news once before. I don’t know if Ajay put such conditions. But if Kajol has made such a decision based on Aja’s suggestion, I respect that. But this is unusual. Shah Rukh then clarified that if my wife Gauri were an actress, she would not tell him who to work with and who not to.
Later, when Shah Rukh approached Kajol with a movie, Ajay Devgan said no. The actor explained to Shah Rukh what was the reason for this. After his marriage to Kajol, Ajay Devgn received a lot of hate mail. The emails said that he married the heroine of Shahrukh.
Shahrukh’s wife, Kajol, also received similar emails. With this, Shahrukh also hinted that he may not make another movie with Kajol. Meanwhile, Shahrukh and Kajol acted together in the movie Dilwale in 2015.
Kajol has previously spoken about Shahrukh and Ajay Devgan not being friends. Just because two people aren’t friends doesn’t mean they’re enemies. Kajol also clarified that just because Shahrukh and Ajah don’t attend parties or take selfies together doesn’t mean they hate each other. Meanwhile, Kajol openly said that Shah Rukh is his close friend.
