Has this happened to anyone else? I just noticed a strange charge on my credit card statement labeled City Of La Dot Pvb Pbphw 866-5619742 CA US. I have no idea what this is or why I was charged. I don’t live in Los Angeles and haven’t been there recently, so I’m really confused.
Is this a legitimate charge? Could someone be fraudulently using my credit card? I’m worried this might happen again in the future if it’s not resolved. Any advice on what I should do would be greatly appreciated!
It seems the City Of La Dot Pvb Pbphw charge is related to the City of Los Angeles Department of Transportation Parking Violations Bureau.

Some key things to consider:
The main advice is to be vigilant about any unexpected or suspicious charges on your credit card, and to take action right away if you believe something is fraudulent. Addressing it promptly can help prevent any further unauthorized charges. Let me know if you have any other questions!
This is the third time this has happened to me in the last year. I’m so fed up with the City of LA stealing money through these bogus charges. Is there any way to stop them?
I’ve already mentioned some of the possible solutions in this thread. You can also file a complaint to stop them!
