I just noticed a charge for $85.50 on my Visa card from “AAA ACG FL0956 MEM AB”. I have no idea what this is, as I don’t remember authorizing any kind of AAA membership or renewal. I’m really confused and concerned about this unexpected charge.
Does anyone else have experience with this? Is this a legitimate charge, or could it be some kind of fraud? I’m not even sure if I’m currently an AAA member. What should I do about this?
I would recommend contacting your credit card company right away to dispute the charge and request a refund. Explain that you did not authorize this and are not a current AAA member.
I had a $146 charge from AAA ACG FL0956 MEM AB 800-222-1134 TAMPA FL *********1829 on my Discover card last October. I was so confused since I don’t even live in Florida and haven’t been an AAA member in years. I had to dispute it with my bank to get the money back.
